Responsibilities

The major duties and responsibilities of a video editor and cameramen are: Capture high-quality photographs and videos   Give a complete structure for video-branded content.  Take a brief to grasp the production team’s needs and specifications  Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film Input music, dialogues, graphics, and, effects  Create rough and final cuts  Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running  Consult with stakeholders from the production to the post-production process  Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and the industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.  find solutions to technical or other practical problems  assemble, prepare, and set up equipment prior to production, The recording and editing process's technical aspects. Working together with stakeholders during the production process

Requirements and skills

-  Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role

-  Familiarity with Adobe Premier, Adobe After Effect, Adobe Audition, and Adobe Photoshop

-  work quickly, especially as timing is such an important factor

-  Solid experience with digital technology and editing software package

-  set up equipment prior to filming,

-  Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity

-  Strong time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.

-  Demonstrate ability to learn and adapt to new production
