The candidate should have 3-5 years of work experience in Mobile Money or Fintech industries. The engineer will be responsible for providing 8*5 maintenance services for customer Mobile Money applications and systems. They will also ensure the availability, performance, and thresholds of the systems are maintained.
Responsibilities
The BO-AMS Engineer will perform routine tasks and changes required in the respective modules as per the rectifications and incidents restoration plan. Additionally, the responsibilities include software loading, configuration, integration, verification, and troubleshooting of production environment or lab/test environment. The role will involve leading the investigation and isolation of unique and challenging problems. The engineer will provide support for the alarms generated in monitoring tools and generate reports on adhoc basis.
Requirements
Candidates should have good knowledge of Database, Linux, SQL, and common software products like Mobile Money solution, telecom BSS system, etc. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as excellent troubleshooting skills. The candidate should have ITIL Knowledge and effective communication and time management skills. Fluency in English is required

Huawei Technologies Ethiopia PLC is seeking a Microwave Engineer to join their team. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical and Computer Engineering (Communication stream), with 2-3 years of experience in a similar position in mobile operator or similar projects.
Responsibilities
The Microwave Engineer will be responsible for the MW link design and planning, configuration and commissioning for Microwave Huawei products which includes software parameter configurations. They will conduct site surveying, hardware installation, acceptance, and have knowledge of Microwave IDU/ODU sites equipment. The Engineer will also operate and maintain Microwave products, including Common-band/E-band/SDB/LH links, alarm monitor troubleshooting and OptiX RTN software upgrade. Additionally, the role involves remote and onsite technical support for customer support Microwave equipment.
Requirements
Candidates should have a good command of spoken and written English, and able to work under stress. The candidate must possess excellent teamwork skills, be self-motivated, and able to work with minimum supervision.
